Modern Family

Modern Family is continuing it’s show on ABC for the fifth season. Over the course of it’s showing, Modern Family has won four Emmy’s. Breaking down the cliché idea of the perfect family, Modern Family depicts a blended family of Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker. The family is three generations. Even though the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan isn’t the normal TV series stay at home mom, and salesman father, the show continues to be popular by showing the more realistic form of today’s modern family.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (ABC Family)

This show, much like Once Upon a Time is focused around modern retelling of fairy tales. In this version of the well-known Wonderland story, Alice is an escaped mental patient. Her father put her there after hearing her adventurous tale of smoking caterpillars and dancing card. In this story, Alice enrolls the help of the Knave of Hearts and The Rabbit to join her on a quest to find her true love that the Queen of Hearts has captured.

Glee

Finally, the Glee returns to FOX singing and dancing through the halls of McKinley HS. This show follows High School students figuring out their social lives through song and dance. Glee is loved by teens all over the world for the realistic issues that happen on the show. Glee discusses popular topics in modern day. Plus who wouldn’t love lovable actors singing catchy showtunes? However, after Cory Monteith’s death, there have been talks about ending the show. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the chairman of FOX said he doesn’t see the show continuing “beyond two more seasons.”
