From Head Coach Mr. Russie Alexander:

The boys varsity tennis team is currently 9-1 for the season. The team has played very well all season, with the only loss to rival Yorktown. On Friday, April 13, the team beat Stuart 9-0.

This year, Chingun Erdene has earned the #1 player spot. In his game against Q. Manglapus of Stuart, Erdene beat him 11-10 (with an 8-6 tiebreaker); he was down 6-9 and made the comeback. It was the first lost for Manglapus and makes Erdene the #1 ranked player in the National District; he has not lost a game or match this season.

#2 player, Jalaluddin Ahmed, and Jackson Doolittle,  a freshman who plays #4, have also remained undefeated this season.

The team is scheduled for a second match against Yorktown next Monday, April 23, at Quincy Field tennis courts (home).
