“Well, I am thankful for memes,” sophomore Iain Ramsey said.

So in general, it is very time consuming for me, but it is a pastime. I would say my number one priority would be memes, and then maybe my family.”

With October being over and the spookiness of Halloween subsiding, it is time to start thinking about the important things in your life. November is the month to be grateful. What are you thankful for?

  • Sophomore Matthew Palacios said, “I am thankful for food, Netflix, my bed, sleep and food again.”

  • Sophomore Natalia Paley Whitman said, “I am thankful for the stars, love, trees and Eric. Oh, and food… like all the food.”

  • “I am thankful for my friends and my family. I am also thankful for the opportunities to see and do different things I was not able to before I moved to the United States,” senior Pablo Paras said. “Even if leaving some of my friends behind sort of sucks, I am very thankful for all of the new people I have met here and for everyone who has helped me feel more at home.”

  • Sophomore James White said, “I’m glad that the quarter is going to end. I’m going to sleep in tomorrow, and then I get to reset. We all get a whole new start. I’m thankful that I get to try again."

  • “My family, definitely, is something that I am thankful for. I don't know where I would be without them,” sophomore Leah Downey said. “I’m also thankful for living here in Arlington. I just moved here, so this is definitely something new and exciting. One last thing I am grateful for is the people that I have met here that have really helped me through this transitional period in my life.”

But I’m thankful for the fact that I have always been exposed to high-quality teaching and teachers. That, even to this day, has allowed my life to be interesting and full of insight and full of intellectual stimulation,” English teacher Richard Greene said. “That doesn’t happen in a vacuum most of the time, either it comes from home or it comes from school.I’ve been so fortunate that from kindergarten up through graduate school I have always had great teachers, great schools, and that is something I am thankful for.”
