2015 SCA Spirit Week

Twice a year, Washington-Lee High School has their annual Spirit Week, an interactive and fun way for the school to engage the student body. Around this time of year, students can become stressed about finishing off the school year on a good note. Activities like spirit week can act as a stress reliever before students take their exams. The spirit days were in order as follows: Generals Pride Day, Superhero Day, Dynamic Duo Day, Class Colors Day, and Rainbow Day.

The SCA Olympics were during 7th period on Class Colors Day. Students and faculty members participated in activities such as a water balloon toss, “pie-ing” of staff members and tug of war. There was also a hula hoop ball toss which required the crowd to toss the ball into the hoop as many times as they could. The results for the SCA Olympics were as follows:

  • 1st Place: Senior Class
  • 2nd Place: Sophomore Class
  • 3rd Place: Junior Class
  • 4th Place: Staff
  • 5th Place: Freshman
