As the temperatures drop and the fall season begins, it is time to start some great seasonal festivities.. There are many fun options all across the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia Region. These are fun activities for all students to enjoy with friends and family.
One place that offers seasonal fun both day and night is Cox Farms. Cox Farms is located in Centerville, Virginia, typically a 30 to 40 minute drive from Arlington. During the day, Cox Farms is friendly to all ages, offering hay rides, slides, pumpkin patches, farm animals, a corn maze and live music. Similar to the Fields of Fear, Markoff’s Haunted Forest is also great for those who enjoy frightful activities. It is located a little further away than Cox Farms in Dickerson, Maryland. drinks around a huge bonfire. It is also free admission. Second is the Haunted Trail, a mile-long, treacherous track filled with terrifying scenes and experiences. Finally, for a more fun experience, taking a tractor ride into The Town offers scary characters and scenes that make the adventure more exciting and spooky.
For anyone looking for fun daytime experiences closer by, Arlington is surrounded by pumpkin patches, a perfect fall destination for all!
