The March For Our Lives demonstration, which was spearheaded by a group of students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., took place on the National Mall on March 24 with crowds estimated near 800,000, according to march organizers. More than two dozen marches were held in cities around the country and around the world in such places as Israel, New Zealand, Australia, the U.K., Japan, Belgium, India, France and Chile.
