The Super Bowl is a highly publicized football game in which the best two national teams play against one another. It is an annual event that marks the end of the National Football League (NFL). For this championship game, the stadium is filled with millions of people, and many more watch from home. This year the two teams were the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.
In the first quarter, Kyle Walker, running back for the Seahawks, was running through people’s helmets. The Patriots struggled to stop his running game. The Seahawks’ offense worked really well together, and their defense stopped the Patriots. The Seahawks studied the Patriots defense to see their weak point. The Patriots tried to respond to this discipline, but were often unable to make headway in the Seahawks’ defenses.
In the second quarter, the game was close. The Patriots tried to play offense,but failed to score because the Seahawks’ defense is one of the best defenses in the league. . Seattle began to pull ahead leading into halftime. The crowd was full of excitement as the teams went into the locker room.
After halftime, both teams reentered the field with the intention to win. The Patriots tried to make a comeback but were crushed by the Seahawk’s offensive plays. They were discouraged as the game entered the fourth quarter.They subbed in their 2 string quarter back and did not want the starter to keep playing because they were losing badly.
In the fourth quarter, every play mattered. The Seahawks were determined to maintain their lead, and the Patriots wished to overtake it. The Seahawks stayed calm and disciplined because they were winning by two touchdowns. The Patriots scored at the end of the fourth quarter, but still lost.
When the game ended. The game ended 29-13. All the Seahawks players removed their helmets and threw them into the air in celebration. The fans cheered loudly. The players hugged each other and held up the trophy. It was a proud moment for the team and the city of Seattle. The last time the Seahawks played the Patriots in the super bowl the patriots won in the 4th quarter 4 seconds left. The Patriots defense intercepted the ball from Russell Wilson to win the game before scoring to win. They came back again in the super bowl matchup in 2025 and proved to get back what they left in 2015.
